I needed two textbooks, and both of them were out of stock again. It’s really frustrating because this seems to happen often whenever I’m trying to get books for class.

"I’m frustrated with how the refund process..."
I’m frustrated with how the refund process went. Compared to other places I’ve dealt with, this felt way more confusing and slow than it needed to be. I’m still waiting, and no one has really explained what’s going on or when I can expect the money back...

Customer service took a while to get back to me, and when they did, they didn’t really solve my issue. I kinda felt like I had to keep repeating the same question just to get anywhere

"Helpful staff, website was just okay"
I ordered from ysu.bncollege.com and had a little trouble figuring out which book I was supposed to get. I ended up calling, and the staff was actually helpful. They explained it in a way that made sense and didn’t make me feel like I was bothering them or anything.
The website itself was kind of slow for me and a little confusing in a few places, though maybe I was just overthinking it. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I wouldn’t say it was great either. I think 3 stars is probably fair.

"Returning my rental turned into a hassle"
I returned my book on time, but somehow I still ended up getting charged late fees. I don’t really get what happened, because if it was checked in or marked wrong or... I don’t know. Just frustrating to deal with.

"Hardly heard from them, then the terms changed"
I barely got any updates from them until it was basically too late to do anything. What made it even more frustrating was that the terms seemed to change along the way, and nobody really explained it clearly. It just felt like I was left in the dark the whole time.

It’s a decent spot overall, but the hours aren’t very convenient for students like me. It closes early, so it’s hard to make it there when I actually have time.

I opened the package and it just wasn’t right for my class. They sent the wrong materials, so now I have to figure out what to do next

I was just trying to figure out whether I could return my order, but the return policy felt all over the place, with one page making it sound like one thing and another page saying something that seemed different, so I ended up clicking around and second-guessing everything when all I really wanted was a simple straight answer.

"Financial aid payment worked, but the site is kind of a clunky mess"
I used ysu.bncollege.com to pay with my financial aid, and yeah, it did work in the end. But at first it wasn’t exactly clear where to go or what to click, so I had to poke around the site like it was some confusing little disaster. After I submitted everything, I also had to wait a bit before the payment showed up correctly. Support helped when I reached out, but even that took some time. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but for students trying to use financial aid, the process should be way less annoying

"Textbook prices are still way too high"
I used ysu.bncollege.com to pick up a couple books for class, I think it was last semester or maybe the one before, and the prices felt ridiculous. Even the used copies didn’t seem like much of a deal.
Renting helped a little, but some of the rentals were still almost as much as buying the book new somewhere else. Then once shipping and extra fees got added on, it just felt even more annoying.
The site itself worked fine and I didn’t really have issues using it, but the textbook prices are frustrating. I pretty much only use it when I’m stuck and can’t find the book anywhere else.

"Pickup order turned into a headache"
I ordered a book online for pickup and got the notice that it was ready, I showed up at the store and nobody seemed to know where it was. It took a few days to finally get sorted out, and customer support wasn’t much help along the way. i don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

"I rented a book through Bncollege..."
I rented a book through Bncollege, the whole process was way more frustrating than it needed to be.
The return info wasn’t clear at all, so I kept having to click around just to find basic details. For something as simple as renting and returning a book, what a joke.
Support didn’t really make things any easier either. After dealing with all that, I wouldn’t rent from there again.

"Wish there were more YSU options"
I checked out ysu.bncollege.com hoping to find some new YSU gear, but I didn’t have much luck. From what I saw, the selection felt limited, and a lot of the shirts and hoodies were either really basic or only available in sizes I wouldn’t normally buy.
I went back a couple of times thinking maybe they’d added more, but it looked mostly the same each time. It’s probably fine if you just need a YSU shirt quickly, but for me, I was hoping for more variety and a few styles that felt a little different

"Access code was a headache at first"
I bought an access code for my class, and it didn’t work the first couple of times I tried to use it. Support eventually fixed it, but it took a couple of days, which was frustrating since I had homework due. The site itself is fine once you’re in, but the access codes really need to be more reliable. Also, the support emails felt like they were being answered by robots, which didn’t make the whole thing any less annoying.

"Wrong books showed up"
I ordered 3 books and somehow only 1 of them was actually correct. One was the wrong edition, and the other wasn’t even for my class at all, which was so frustrating. I had to deal with getting it fixed, and that took way too long too. Just annoying all around, especially because it was such a simple order and it still got messed up.

"I’ll give it credit for being a book..."
I’ll give it credit for being a book, I guess, but the condition was rough. Several pages were torn, there were stains all over, and it definitely wasn’t worth what I paid. Maybe fine if you just need a copy and don’t care what it looks like.

"Pickup ended up being bad timing"
I ordered from ysu.bncollege.com thinking pickup would be the faster option, but I must have picked the worst time to do it. There wasn’t clear info on where to go, so I ended up standing around and asking a few different people before figuring it out. I was trying to save time, but the timing was just terrible and it took way longer than expected. I probably won’t bother with pickup next time.

My order ended up showing up late, which was frustrating. I was expecting it much sooner and the wait kind of ruined the experience for me. Personally, I don’t think I’d order again unless the shipping gets more reliable.

"Frustrating to Use on My Phone"
I tried using the site on my phone and felt like I was the one having to struggle just to make it work. Pages barely loaded right, buttons were hard to tap, and it seemed like nothing was designed with mobile users like me in mind.
